Sandhill Cranes are magnificent birds and this summer, and as some of you know, a trio of them hung out at my place. Hundreds of them, with their very unique call come in by Big Marsh Lake near Bellevue Michigan. Peak flight time is from 5pm until dusk. They have been on the Endangered Species list and believe they are in threatened status now. The Michigan Audubon Society sponsors this event. There are art and food vendors. Goggle 2018 Cranefest Michigan and it should take you to the website for this festival.
