This 8 mile hike will go along the beach to Big Sable Point Lighthouse, then head in to do Lighthouse Trail, Ridge Trail, Island Trail, work our way between Lost Lake and Hamlin lake to the Hamlin Beach House and the dam, then return to our cars via the Sable River Trail. Afterwards we will go to House of Flavors Ice Cream before heading home. Those wishing to camp overnight should make their reservations early as this is a popular camping area. Some bring their swim suits to enjoy the water immediately after the hike. This hike is done along with the Greater Grand Rapids Ski Club Meetup group and the Grand Rapids Hiking and Adventure Meetup group.
